Autumn School

 Are you a Foundation Doctor? Are you interested in Psychiatry or keen to find out more? Psychiatry Autumn School is for you on Friday 28^th October 2016!

This is a FREE one-day event in Bristol with a packed programme of interesting and inspiring sessions delivered by Consultants and Trainees working in Severn Deanery aiming to give you an insider’s view on our specialty.

This event has been running since 2013, and this year we are delighted that some of the sessions will be facilitated by former attendees of Autumn School.

Sessions include:

• Networking event- speed date your potential specialty- 9 mins with 9 sub-specialties.
• ‘A life in Psychiatry’- hear from a core trainee, advanced trainee, and consultant as they speak about their achievements, aspirations, memorable cases and tips for those starting out in psychiatry.
• ‘First steps in Psychiatry’ learn about the career pathway, what you need to know to apply. Includes the opportunity to ask questions of the panel and see trainee’s portfolios.
• Clinical Masterclasses- opportunity to role play common scenarios and meet patients.

All this and more PLUS you get a certificate to put in your portfolio(and lunch!)
